1. A kowhai tree is yellow. It can grow up to 25 m long and it is important to the Maori people.
2. Kowhai tree Are used to build houses and boats. The Maori people use the kowhai
Tree to make medicine. The kowhai tree is all around NZ so it is easy to find. Birds and bees
Use nectar to make honey.
3. I feel happy because the kowhai tree is easy to find and you can make medicine
out of it.
