Hows Life ?
Room 16
broskis, holy moly lifes crazyy ! I'm chilling one night right ? and then boom, we moving dawg. That was like 5 months ago, and now, i'm chilling in my room. This is such a big deal for me mainly because I've been living in my old home for the last 16 years, a house of 3 rooms, with a family of 11. Like bro, tell me how that works ? I don't know, but my family definitely made it work. I'm especially grateful for the Lord for this blessing, all glory straight to Jesus! Anyways, I've never enjoyed talking about the idea of houses around my friends, only because I never had a room. Straight up, my fondest memory is me sleeping in the living room while the other homies were chilling in their beds in their room. I never talked about how loud I played music in 'my room' or how decorated 'my room' was, because I was ashamed to tell them that I slept in my parents room. As much as it hurts to say, but I, Saia, Top academic boy of 2019, Rise award winner of 2020, Player of the year 2021, First XV Team Spirit of 2022, Top Tamaki College Service academy student of 2023, MVP of summer revo 2023, slept in my parents room majority of my teenage years. I would always get jealous that my friends would literally have walk-in closets, while I wouldn't even have a room of my own. But, the look on my parents face when we first walked into our new house. spoke no words, but yet communicated greatly. The look of "We've done it" and the look of " We get to be a family" were a common theme of facial expression within my parents. Nowadays, I play my music loud asf and my room is all decorated with posters, exceeding beyond my expectations of a room that I've dreamed of having.
